Alberta fall waterfowl hunts.

Fresh northern birds, liberal limits, and little to no pressure in the Peace River Country.

01 The Hunt

Alberta Waterfowl at Eagle Lakes.

World-class waterfowl hunting in the legendary Peace River Country of Alberta, where countless migrating birds arrive each fall. Based near Grande Prairie — a convenient hub with a major airport — you'll hunt some of the most productive duck and goose habitat in North America.

Mornings may begin in a pea field targeting giant Canada geese before transitioning to an afternoon duck hunt, or vice versa. Field hunts run over harvested pea fields from laydown blinds or natural willow blinds; when ducks shift off the fields, we have access to countless hidden ponds, dugouts, sloughs, and lakes.

The region consistently produces mallards, northern pintails, Canada geese, specklebellies, and the occasional snow goose. Alberta's generous regulations allow up to 8 ducks and 8 geese per day with a three-day possession limit.
